Healthy Boy
Simple Exercise for Busy Boys
Healthy Boy is an exercise program designed for people who don’t have time for long blocks of exercise each day.
It involves just five movements:
- Push-ups
- Pull-ups
- Sit-ups
- Squats
- Kettlebell swings
To be a Healthy Boy, simply accumulate reps in these movements throughout the day when you can, how you can. That’s it. Do a squat here and there. Try a pull-up on that bar you bought off Amazon and haven’t touched in a while. Drop and give me, like... two or three push-ups, or however many feels good.
The total of all the reps across the day is your Healthy Boy Score. Did one single squat? You’re at Healthy Boy 1. Five push-ups and 30 sit-ups? That’s Healthy Boy 35. 50 reps of all five movements? Now you’re all the way up to Healthy Boy 250.
The Healthy Boy program is built on the powerful principle that something is better than nothing. It’s fun to see how you can increase your score each day, but a true Healthy Boy is always proud of getting in any movement. After all, you’re a busy boy. And finding any time to exercise is something to celebrate.
